The Dark Fantasy (Black) Knight masks his identity and that of his liege by not displaying heraldry, here he wears sinister armour made of skulls and dragons, holding a fantasy blade sword in front of his face. Large horns extend out of his helmet, and skulls litter the ground around his feet. They are usually portrayed as villainous figures who use this anonymity for misdeeds, sometimes associated with death or darkness, but in the same vein, they may use this same anonymity for good, defending the innocent and saving the vulnerable.
