Heimdall (pronounced “HAME-doll;” Old Norse Heimdallr, is the legendary Norse god who keeps watch for invaders and the onset of Ragnarök from his dwelling Himinbjörg, where the burning rainbow bridge Bifröst links heaven to the mortal realm. He is attested as possessing foreknowledge and keen senses, particularly eyesight and hearing which allows him to see and hear all in Asgard and Midgard. Here he stands a proud and powerful Norse warrior, wearing a braided moustache that drapes down to his chest, dressed in fine armour while his helmet incorporates curling ram horns and the Bifrost wrapped around him and wielding a mighty decorated Viking axe, while he holds Gjallarhorn to his lips and sounds a toneless note, which can be heard in all 9 worlds. When this noise blasts from the Gallarhorn in Asgard, the enemies of the gods are gathering at Vígríðr. The plain where many of the gods will die. The trumpet sound marks the beginning of Ragnarok and will summon the gods to meet for the final battle
